The new wing will include 40 new retail shops, several high-end restaurants, food court, rooftop terrace and garden, and VIP ares. It is expected to open in late 2017. Aventura Mall is one of the top five highest-grossing malls in the country in terms of gross sales and was ranked by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau as the city’s most-visited shopping center by tourists. Anchored by Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s, the center features more than 300 of the world’s most iconic, recognized retailers and a growing collection of luxury boutiques, including Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Fendi, Burberry, Bally, Emilio Pucci, Omega and Brooks Brothers. Aventura Mall opened in 1983 and has been a key component in the City of Aventura’s dynamic residential and tourism growth. A 1997 expansion doubled the shopping center’s footprint and a 2007 addition included Nordstrom and a three-level wing of upscale stores. At 2.7 million square feet, Aventura Mall is one of the largest shopping centers in the country and welcomes nearly 30 million visitors each year.
